Max has always dreamt of being an action hero, just like the ones in the books he reads. So, when he’s given a mysterious book and finds himself zapped into the story, he thinks his dream has come true.

Only it’s not a dream…it’s a nightmare…and fleeing a pack of vicious dogs, crossing rickety rope bridges and being chased by gun-wielding kidnappers is just the start of it!
